As told in my previous blogpost the entire reason of my visit to Stockholm was the invitation to join Gant and BikeID to the launch of their Get Into Gear collection.
After some Stockholm exploring it was time for a little touch-up and a beauty nap. We gathered in the hotel lobby where I got to meet three bloggers and a Men’s Health contributor from the US and a German blogger. Because of the snow and expecting a van to pick us up and take us to the location, we didn’t notice a whole caravan of taxi’s in front of the hotel, waiting for us. As it turns out, they arranged separate cars for all of us…
After a 15 minute drive we arrived at a gorgeous venue just outside Stockholm. A very clean and spacious room with a decorated table and some samples across the room! At first the Creative Director walked us through those samples and told us the ins and outs of how they came up with the fabrics, the designs and their collaboration with BikeID.
Then it was time to get to know each other a little better during the 3 course diner with some Swedish cuisine, which I wished I had captured as well. I guess you just have to trust me on that one. After the diner we ended up riding the bikes throughout the room, probably because some people ‘suddenly’ found the courage to ride one. Funny enough, some people never cycled, guess who? haha! No, it’s not me!
Since all the Swedish people went for drinks in Stockholm, we as invites couldn’t say no and joined for drinks obviously. After some more champagne, me and the other bloggers that stayed in the same hotel, decided it was time to turn it up a notch and explored the Stockholm nightlife for a bit.
All in all an amazing experience I am very honoured and blessed to be invited to this event!
Thanks again Gant for having me!
